LEONIE ADER

CIMH Research Team

Leonie is a PhD candidate at the Department of Public Mental Health at the Central Institute of Mental Health (CIMH) in Mannheim, Germany. Her research explores how people's thoughts, feelings, and experiences in daily life influence mental health and psychological well-being. She is particularly interested in using smartphone-based research methods to better understand the everyday processes that contribute to mental health difficulties and chronic pain. Her work aims to support the development of personalised prevention and intervention approaches, including smartphone-apps that can help people improve their well-being in daily life. As part of the Bridging Divides 2 project, she collaborates with the Part 3 team to develop new ways of assessing experiences of sexism, misogyny, and gender inequality (SMGI) as they occur in everyday life.

In her free time, she enjoys biking, hiking, and sewing.
