INTERVIEWS
We will conduct interviews with young people aged 13-24 from a diverse range of backgrounds to learn about their experiences of
sexism, misogyny,
and gender inequality (SMGI)
in everyday life in more depth. We are especially interested in how these experiences affect mental health during the transitional stage of puberty. For those aged 19-24, we also want to hear about how these issues manifest during important life transitions, such as starting university, getting a job, moving in with a partner, or becoming a parent. All of this work is being done with young people, not just about them. We work alongside young co-researchers who help shape and conduct the interviews and bring their own insights into what life is like for young people today.
