Dario Moreno agostino
UCL Research Lead
Darío (he/him) co-leads the part of the project that focuses on the use of existing data to better understand why gender inequalities in youth mental health arise. He has extensive experience working with UK longitudinal population studies and applying advanced quantitative methods to study patterns and drivers of gender and other social inequalities in population mental health. Darío is very interested in the combined use of causal inference approaches and an intersectional framework (recognising how overlapping systems of oppression such as sexism, racism, heterosexism, and classism shape mental health differently across groups) to help inform more targeted and effective interventions to reduce inequalities.
Outside (and inside!) of the project and work, Darío is passionate about food (and will very happily take recommendations!).
